Student Visa / Permit

If you are looking at expanding your knowledge and gaining a New Zealand qualification that is recognized worldwide, then a NZQA approved New Zealand qualification is just what you need.

If you are looking to study in New Zealand for more than three months, you will require a Student Visa or Permit. We can provide you with a checklist that highlights the necessary requirements for the application of a Student Visa or Permit, having an acceptable level of the English language being imperative, and assist you with the application process.

There are a large number of courses available within New Zealand Institutions for you to study as a fulltime student. You are also allowed to work 20 hours per week while you are studying in New Zealand on a Student Visa or Permit. Upon your completion of the course, you may be eligible for an Open Work Permit for ONE year (subject to conditions). More details can be made available to you upon your arrival. Each applicant of the Student Visa or Permit (and any accompanying partner or spouse) is required to meet all financial, health and character requirements as per the Immigration New Zealand Policy.
